Post Election Comments

I am satisfied with the election and the overall election results. The reason for this is because I am democratic and also he had some very good reasons that I was happy with. Some of those plans are like what he is going to do with the Iraqi soldiers; Carefully removing them.  I am with that comment/ plan.
In my opinion, I would keep the electoral college system.  Also keep the system the way it has been for all the time we have been using it. I think it has great expectations and requirements of the candidates. Although if I could change the system in any way, I would maybe add a bonus of electoral votes to the candidate who wins the popular vote so "We The People" get more of a chance to say who we want for president.
After closely looking at my map of the electoral votes estimation on who's going to win which state, I am noticing that I have been very close in my estimation. I only got 3 out of the 50 states wrong.  Although I am not sure about Missouri for they haven't calculated all the votes in for that state specifically, yet (as far as I know). What basically happened is that Barrack Obama appealed to more people than John McCain did.  Therefore, Barrack Obama "Wins the White House".
My Gallup poll research influenced my prediction on the popular vote by Barrack receiving 51% of the popular votes and John McCain receiving 48% of the popular votes (and 1% of the votes went to the independence piece of the election).
Other comments I would like to share are like how I thought that Barrack was ready to be elected whereas John McCain had his turn to run a little while ago. On the other hand, both candidates had well thought out plans, and speeches, and debates.

Barrack Obama "Barney" Ad

This Ad tells voters that Barney went through some hard times getting his job taken away, although Barrack is getting involved. He is helping retrieve the job and put Barney Smith back into business.

John McCain with Obama "Opposites"

WHY MCCAIN

This clip of the two candidates compares and contrasts them, encouraging voters to choose McCain for "economic growth" and "a stronger America."  It makes Obama look less appealing to voters and McCain look like the candidate who will help "workin' joe's keep" what's theirs, and lower taxes.

Gallup Poll Support By Age

Electiondemo3.gif

This poll shows the information about how age can effect voters choice. Younger people vote for the democratic party, whereas older people still vote for Obama, but at the age of 65 and above, it is a tie between both democratic and republican parties.

McCain and Palin Website Review

The website of McCain and Palin is not as well organized as Barack Obama's. The first page that showed up (for me), was  automatically playing a video clip in response to Barack Obama's 30 minutes of live air time tonight.  This video clip may change some voter's minds.  It was well placed.  After moving on from that segment of the website into the main or homepage, it becomes too compacted.  The colors and fonts are too varied and difficult to translate.  My eyes had difficulty focusing on one particular area at a time.  Similar to Obama, there was a schedule of events, and some videos; there was also a "photos of the week" section.  This section was not the strongest, or best use of space.

Review On Obama and Biden's Website

The website of Barack Obama and Joe Biden is very easy to navigate.  The primary color is blue, and important details are in red, such as where and how to vote and donate money.  In the center of the page there is a rotating billboard with multiple short video clips.  They were all well organized under specific headings so you knew what you were going to see.  Obama's rally schedule is posted for people so that they can attend.  The website that Obama set up in an easy-to-read fashion, appealing to people, and explains a lot of information.

The Political Black Knight

This "P.C." explains how Barack Obama is in the lead of the election and will possibly win the white house.

Gallup poll on candidates support by race

This is an example of a gallup poll of people who voted for either Barack Obama or John McCain. It is characterized by the race/ skin color of people voting. According to the poll in the bottom right, black people vote in favor of Barack Obama throughout the poll. Also, the majority of white people vote for Obama too.

McCain and Palin with Civil Rights

McCain and Palin are saying no to a couple of topics in the campaign.  A few are:  he wants to get rid of M.L.K. holiday (if I'm correct),  he voted on no gay, lesbian, or bisexual  marriages,  and voted against flag desecration.  Also he will loosen the cell phone wiretapping by the F.B.I or C.I.A. so then you will have a bigger freedom of will.

Obama and Biden with Civil Rights

Obama and Biden announces that we all have the basic civil rights and he supports the fact that he will protect those facts.  Also,  they will strengthen the enforcement of those laws / rights.  Racism is occurring all over the country for the average white man will earn a dollar while other skin toned people are earning much less by the dollar including women too.

McCain and Palin with environment and energy

The environmental change in McCain's eyes is to:  rebuild or add on to our savings,  grow our investments and income,  and a more renewable economy with energy independence such as electric cars.  He an Palin will also try to commit our country of the U.S.A. to explore for domestic oil.

Obama and Biden with Environment and energy

The main plan for them is to stop the pollution in the atmosphere.  There are a lot of ways Obama can do this.  Like for instance, provide hybrids to 1 million people by 2015.  The gas mileage on these special cars is 150 miles to the gallon.  Obama is taking in the domestic process of creating oil and natural gas.

McCain calling on his Bffl (best friend for life) political cartoon

This picture of John McCain shows him "calling" Joe the Plumber again. He, his campaign and mostly house/ room are "going down the drain". This is because the polls are suggesting he will not get into office.

McCain and Palin, Taxes

McCain believes we need to lower the corporate tax rate from 35% to 25%. He would like to protect small businesses and attract corporations to the United States from around the world. McCain would ban both internet and new cell phone taxes. McCain recently stated he wants to lower the tax on "Seniors" 401K's and IRA's to 10%. He also plans to cut the capital gains tax to 7.5%. McCain also plans to decrease the tax rate for everyone in every income bracket.

Obama and Biden Taxes

Obama's approach to taxes supports the lower and middle class families who make less than $250,000 annually. They will not see their taxes increase. People who make $250,000 or more per year will pay the same tax rate or less than they did in the 1990's. Obama supports a "refundable $4,000 American Opportunity Tax Credit," for all public college tuition funds. This covers two thirds of the cost of public four year college. Obama will cut capital gains taxes to small businesses, because he sees them as good for the economy. Obama has plans to reform corporate tax loopholes because large companies have been taking advantage of current laws.

McCain and Palin in Iraq

McCain suggests that we keep the troops of the U.S.A. in the Iraqi war. The main reason why, is so we can support the government of Iraq. He also supported the "surge" in Iraq, which sent reinforcements to secure the population. He believes the presence of the troops will provide security and assist the Iraqi's during their next election. This will bring about a better government to the citizens of Iraq. Regarding the economy, McCain feels that the international community should help Iraq so they can open small businesses and become financially stable. McCain does not know when he will remove the troops from Iraq exactly.

Obama and Biden on The issue of Iraq

Senator Obama is saying that we need to take all the troops out of Iraq. But we must carefully remove them because we put them into Iraq without thinking. Obama suggests we must "End The War." Another thought by Obama and Biden is that they will place 1 to 2 "brigades" every month for 16 months and stop in the summer of 2010. Then, it will currently be 7 years after the war began.
